Choosing First

People are what they are. You cannot make them better people, nor can you make them worse. You cannot do anything for them that they have not chosen originally. What you can do is help them choose. And how do you help them choose?

By choosing first.  By making your choice. By choosing the light and changing your vibrational frequency. Because when they see you have changed, they will believe that it is possible to change. And when they realize that it is possible to change, they will begin to look at themselves.

And they will try to change. And this attempt at change is already a change in itself. The fact that they believe it is possible to change is already a huge change.

Do you see why it is so important that you change first?

You could say, “But changing myself is harder.” Of course it is. That is why it is so important. If there is something you want someone to do, you must do it first. If there is a certain way in which you want someone to act, you must act that way first. He may not even do what you want him to, but your transformation has already begun. And that is what really matters.
